What is HYROX?
HYROX is a global fitness competition that combines functional strength training with running. The concept is simple but tough:
- 8 x 1 km run
- 8 different workouts in between each run
Whether you’re an experienced athlete or new to the sport, there’s something for everyone. HYROX is made for both competition and community, where you train to become the best version of yourself.

At Aarhus CrossFit we offer structured HYROX training four times a week, where we train the specific elements of HYROX together : running, strength and endurance .
The training is designed to improve your fitness, get stronger and feel ready to compete in a HYROX event.

What can you expect in the HYROX intro class?
The intro class starts with a short introduction to HYROX:
- What is it?
- How does a HYROX race work?
- And what can you expect from HYROX classes with us?
Then we’ll go through some of the basic exercises and techniques so you feel well prepared. Finally, we finish with a HYROX-inspired workout, adapted to all levels, where you get the opportunity to try out the exercises we’ve just covered.
Afterwards there will be time for questions.
