Julius has over a decade of coaching experience and a Master’s degree in Physical Education with a focus on exercise physiology, which provides the foundation for a research-based and up-to-date approach to strength training and muscle building. He combines his academic background with practical experience from training environments such as Weightlifting101, TheProgrm, NoShortcuts, international competitions and several CrossFit certification courses.
Training is organized with a focus on movement quality and technical understanding. Julius considers technique to be the cornerstone of all long-term and effective training. Therefore, the goal of each session is not just to complete a series of exercises, but to ensure that the participant understands the training program, the choice of exercises and the rationale behind them.
Working with Erik from Weightlifting101 – weightlifting coach to some of the most high-profile athletes in CrossFit – Julius keeps himself updated and anchors his practice in both evidence and experience from elite sports.
In practice, this means that the participant meets a trainer who not only adapts the training to the current level, but also takes into account the life circumstances that affect the training effort. Training is designed for sustainable progression, with minor adjustments over time contributing to measurable development.
