Basic

The Basic classes focus on the very basic techniques of CrossFit and are therefore suitable for those who have attended our Free Intro or Beginners Class, but want to get a better grasp of the technique before you dive into our regular WODs.

A, B, C or D

All Basic classes are structured to focus on the basic techniques of CrossFit.
There will also always be a Basic WOD (workout of the day) at the end that everyone can participate in.
However, you won’t lack intensity or challenge – you get back what you put in.
We recommend that you try all Basic classes.
You are free to choose between the classes, i.e. you do not have to take them in order A-D.
Basic A: Simple exercises with kettlebells, boxes, plates and/or medicine balls.
Basic B: Variations of overhead press exercises and intro to basic Olympic technique.
Basic C: Basic bodyweight exercises (e.g. correct air squat technique.)
Basic D: Deadlift and intro to more advanced bodyweight exercises.

The practicalities

Basic is for those who want to get the technique right or want a refresher of the exercises before jumping into one of our WODS.
Everyone can participate, regardless of level and age.
It’s part of the Aarhus CrossFit membership.
Therefore, it only requires that you are a member with us.
The training times are as follows:
Tuesday 15:00-16:00
Thursday 19:00-20:00
Saturday 10:00-11:00

Crossfit is for those who want an intensive and versatile but natural workout where we are one hundred percent present and give everything we have in us.
It’s a workout that’s different.
A workout that builds on the body’s natural movements and the elements we all have around us.
Crossfit is for everyone, regardless of gender, age, experience, ability or personality.

Brand new to CrossFit?

If you’ve never tried CrossFit before but want to get a taste of what CrossFit can do for you, we recommend you take our Free Intro class.
If you’re brand new to CrossFit, you’ll join a class with like-minded people who are also brand new.
The most basic CrossFit exercises will be covered thoroughly, after which we will finish with a group workout.
You’re guaranteed high intensity, but ANYONE can participate, regardless of level, as all exercises can be scaled as needed.
