New to CrossFit?

In Aarhus Crossfit, EVERYONE can join, regardless of age and level.
To ensure you get the best start to CrossFit, we have created four different classes that you can take advantage of.
These are our Free Intro, Beginners Class, CrossFit Light and Basic.
Each of these four classes is aimed at beginners and each has its own benefits, depending on what YOU want to get out of your training.

Do you want the best start to CrossFit, or maybe you want a slightly scaled-down version of CrossFit to start with?

At Aarhus CrossFit, we believe that EVERYONE can join!
Regardless of your level, age or physical and mental fitness.
Many people think that CrossFit is only for those who are already in top shape, and that practicing CrossFit is terribly hard and exhausting.
We’d like to draw a big fat line here and say that’s not true.

CrossFit is a sport that combines an intensive and versatile but natural workout.
It builds on the body’s natural movements and can be adjusted and scaled according to who you are.
This means that EVERYONE can participate!

To ensure that you get the best start, we at Aarhus CrossFit have created a number of different classes that you can take advantage of as a newcomer.
These classes are designed to give you the best introduction to CrossFit, so you can get the basics in place.
In CrossFit we work with many different exercises, and it is important to us that you get the right technique in place so you can achieve better results.
You’ll also meet other like-minded people who, like you, are new to this world.
Many people are surprised when they start with us at Aarhus CrossFit, because the social aspect also plays a big part here.
You will meet many different people, and regardless of personality, age and profession, people are happy to talk to each other across the board.

Crossfit is for those who want an intensive and versatile but natural workout where we are one hundred percent present and give everything we have in us.
It’s a workout that’s different.
A workout that builds on the body’s natural movements and the elements we all have around us.

Free intro

Free intro is for those who have never tried CrossFit before.
It’s the first step and ANYONE can participate.
Our skilled and competent instructors will take you through a talk about CrossFit and the basic principles.
You will then be introduced to the basic CrossFit exercises and there will be time to hone your technique.
Finally, a workout will be performed.
Here, all the exercises you’ve just gone through will be put to use.
Along the way, the instructors will help you achieve even better technique and motivate you to go the extra mile if you want to.

CrossFit Light

At Aarhus CrossFit we believe that EVERYONE should be able to participate in CrossFit.
Our normal workouts are based on intensity and effective training.
As a supplement to this, we have created the team “CrossFit Light”.
CrossFit Light is for those who want to try a gentler version of CrossFit.
You’ll get all the good, functional and varied aspects of CrossFit and become part of an open and informal training environment.
At CrossFit Light, we train in a smaller class with a maximum of 15 participants, so the instructor has more time to get around to everyone.
We focus on the less demanding and technically easier exercises.
At the same time, these can be scaled down to suit your particular level.

CrossFit Light

Beginners Class

One of our best and most popular classes for newcomers is definitely the Beginners Class!
This is a four-week program with two workouts per week.
It’s designed to further introduce you to the basic movements and exercises of CrossFit, as well as the foundation for living a more healthy and active life.
We place great emphasis on a personal approach in this program!
That’s why it will be the same instructor who follows you all the way, and the same people you train with every time.
This way, you’ll quickly make several acquaintances in the CrossFit world, and maybe a regular training partner or two.
We usually run one Beginners Class course per month and places are very popular!

Beginners Class

Basic

Our Basic classes focus on the more basic techniques in CrossFit and are therefore ideal for those who have been to Free Intro and want to get the basic exercises in place before jumping into regular classes.
In all Basic classes there will be a Basic WOD (workout of the day) that everyone can participate in, but which certainly does not need to lack either intensity or challenge.
Here you get back what you put in.
The basic classes are divided into four different modules, A, B, C and D. We recommend that you attend 1-4 modules of basic classes.
You are free to choose between the classes, i.e. you do not have to take them in the order no.
